Now ye may suppose that this is foolishness in me; but behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass; and small means in many instances doth confound the wise.
(Book of Mormon | Alma 37:6)
BREAKING NEWS FROM ZION AND JERUSALEM .
WE HAVE DEETCTED THAT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS IN OUR MIDST
R.Dale Jeffery shared in his Facebook page a very meaningful photo and said boldly and fearlessly by the power of prayer that is in him:
I'm really not sure we say Thank You enough...
Some may find this simple and meaningless, but to some of us, here on earth and in heave, it appears that R. Dale Jeffrey is truly concerned and the heavens responded to all of us thru sincere promptings and inspiration concerning children and angelic messages that came from those who were listening to the prophets and those that have the spirit of discernment and are quick to observe. And in response to his concern, a few of his facebook friends and companions said:
Sarah Hanselmann My little niece didn't think she had to say please or thank you because she wasn't in school. Her mom and I both told her that she needs to use it all the time and not just at school. She didn't look to happy about that but manners are important no matter where you are.
Robert Rey Black The first words that my oldest daughter learned was "Thank You". She learned that if she wanted some thing, to grab it and say "Thank you". To her it meant "give it to me now". <grin>
Miguel Angel Tinoco You are right. THANK YOU for reminding me. If gratitude mean more than ALL other words, ingratitude is the exact opposite. It takes courage to pray only for gratitude. I hope one day not so distant I master this challenge and beg nothing of God but offer unto him only gratitude.
Miguel Angel Tinoco My children are on the way to school as we speak, and as soon as I finished posting the message above, they came to me and I prayed with them and said nothing but thanks. And I discovered by myself that what R Dale Jeffrey posted and what the prophet said is absolutely right. I feel as if something is stolen from me, for I could not say THANK YOU ENOUGH to my heavenly father during that prayer; and I am far away from that enough mark. We are unprofitavle servants and we onlyu do that which is our duty to do. THE whole life in this life ahead will not be sufficient to thank and praise my heavenly father enough. I am not disappointed, I only hope I can always give thanks meaningfully and praise GOD forever. God is teaching us as we speak, for is this it is written:
Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not. So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not. So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
(New Testament | Luke 17:9 - 10)
I say unto you, my brethren, that if you should render all the thanks and praise which your whole soul has power to possess, to that God who has created you, and has kept and preserved you, and has caused that ye should rejoice, and has granted that ye should live in peace one with another— I say unto you that if ye should serve him who has created you from the beginning, and is preserving you from day to day, by lending you breath, that ye may live and move and do according to your own will, and even supporting you from one moment to another—I say, if ye should serve him with all your whole souls yet ye would be unprofitable servants. And behold, all that he requires of you is to keep his commandments; and he has promised you that if ye would keep his commandments ye should prosper in the land; and he never doth vary from that which he hath said; therefore, if ye do keep his commandments he doth bless you and prosper you.
(Book of Mormon | Mosiah 2:20 - 22)
Again, I thank you R. Dale Jeffrey for posting that, for had you not done this I would have not searched the will of the LORD who is in our midst, for he also said:
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
(New Testament | Matthew 18:20)
Do you believe and agree with me in this thing as I agree with you and president
At least what has developed or transpired here in this small conversation is a small, plain and simple testimony that God is in our midst. And that HE is an unchangeable being; and that does not vary from that which he has said. A few of us have agreed that we do not say thank enough. And that is or has to be true because the ancients have said it and the scriptures make it manifest, and also the prophets of today have said it and we are continuing to say it. And that is self evident truth for the truth encompasses the past, the present and the future or the knowledge of things as they are, as they have been and as they are to come.
It is also self evident, even contrary to popular wisdom and/or an intellectual belief, that That both the Bible and the book of Mormon and the words of the living prophets agree or that Holy Scriptures when applied to our daily living is true, interactive and very profitable. And that the LORD works by small means his great and eternal purposes. And that by very small means, such as a valid concern as the one R. D Jeffrey posted by observing what the living prophets have said, truly can open the heavens and bring to us lasting manna or things that confound the learned and the wise and keep us in remembrance of out God.
And the Lord God doth work by means to bring about his great and eternal purposes; and by very small means the Lord doth confound the wise and bringeth about the salvation of many souls. And now, it has hitherto been wisdom in God that these things should be preserved; for behold, they have enlarged the memory of this people, yea, and convinced many of the error of their ways, and brought them to the knowledge of their God unto the salvation of their souls.
(Book of Mormon | Alma 37:7 - 8)
For the spirit of GOD bears record of the father and of the son and of the truth of all things. And as a clerk of Zion and Jerusalem , it is my duty to bear record or solemnly witness of this truth and of the manner of life, their works and faith of those presents. And so that things are recorded properly, I do it as one having authority in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen.
This is but an unworthy and unprofitable servant in the hands of Christ

IT is the duty of the Lord's clerk, whom he has appointed, to keep a history, and a general church record of all things that transpire in Zion, and of all those who consecrate properties, and receive inheritances legally from the bishop; And also their manner of life, their faith, and works..
