If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Zion and Jerusalem, July 16, 2013

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

(New Testament | James 2:19)

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

(New Testament | James 2:20 - 26)

THEREFORE THE LORD SAID:

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

(New Testament | John 14:15)

The Miracle of forgiveness

Bobby Gilpin Said:

“Wait a minute, what is the Saviour thinking? Does he not know that there is a repentance process? Does he not know that this woman who everyone knows is a sinner, has a long way to go to achieve this Miracle of Forgiveness? Surely she needed to get baptised first at least? Shouldn’t we be asking Jesus if He got the memo?

Seriously the answer is no, Jesus Christ the Saviour demonstrates here what true Biblical forgiveness is. Its not found in keeping the commandments, its not found in ridding ourself of sin as that is impossible. Forgiveness is found in coming to Christ and Christ alone with a broken heart and confessing to Him that you are worthy of nothing, that even your good deeds up to this point have been filthy rags in His sight (Isaiah 64:6), and that your putting your trust in Him that by His grace you might know freedom from the consequences of your sin and gain an absolute assurance of your salvation.”

Bobby, I just read your article about the miracle of forgiveness bove. And you are beautiful as Lucifer man, you get it almost perfectly, but almost is not good enough.  I love the way you start your articles because you give a reasonable amount of plausible truth to your particular and non indoctrinated readers, and all that truth comes from us, latter day saints, but then you take it all away in a bliss from the mind and heart of your readers with a fragment of vain reasoning and leave them empty handed.  As any of us, you have fallen short of the glory of GOD. That is to say, I enjoyed your article apt to the very last moment or up until you used your own reasoning as written above when you lost track of truth to justify what you do not understand or ignore about the true miracle forgiveness.  If salvation is not faounf in keeping the commadments breath three and a fourth and you will see how you and your life will sink to hell as fast as the tinatic.  Imposible? NOthing is impossible with GOd.  Have you been forgiven? If not, you need to speedily repent and taste of the salvation of the LORD thru the principles and ordinaces of his everlasting gospel.

For with God nothing shall be impossible.

(New Testament | Luke 1:37)

The LORD and the prophets thru their preaching, professing and prophesying give us the law so that the law can kill us thru the offenses or trespasses when we break it. The more they plant in us the more offensive it is to us because we can tell that we cannot keep it. If we do not abide by it, it takes its toll on the perpetrator according to divine justice to condemn sin and the sinner if he or she does not repent.    But the law exists also that there can be abundance of grace and mercy if we repent after we have broken the law thru the mediation of our redeemer, the LORD Jesus Christ.  Without repentance the atonement of Christ does not become active in our lives unto redemption from the effect of the law which otherwise would be eternally fatal. You should listen to this video that explains in prophetic terms the elements of moral agency so you know where you stand in your thoughts. And there you will hear the wise words of the LORD when he said; IF you continue in my word, ye are my disciples shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free, and the law shall also make you free.

The elements of moral agency and natural law.

But not as the offence, so also is the free gift.  For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.  For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound.  But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

(New Testament | Romans 5:15 - 21)

Because if say that there is no law, there is no sin and where these things do not exist, there is no punishment and where there is no punishment, justice and mercy have no claim. And if these things are not, GOD does not exist. But as I live, there is a God that is just and merciful and he has given us a law.  And Mercy cannot take effect unless the demands of Justice are satisfied.  And for this purpose, because we all have fallen short of the glory of God and are condemned under the law, Christ came and gave us his gospel or a more excellent way, that thru faith in him unto repentance we can be forgiven and thru baptism we can be washed and take a determination to keep all his commandments by persevering to the end of our lived.  And if we do this by the spirit justified or purified and thru the blood of Christ by his grace and mercy we are sanctified.   For by water wee keep the commandment, by the spirit we are justified under the law and by blood we are sanctified.

And if ye shall say there is no law, ye shall also say there is no sin.  If ye shall say there is no sin, ye shall also say there is no righteousness.  And if there be no righteousness there be no happiness.  And if there be no righteousness nor happiness there be no punishment nor misery.  And if these things are not there is no God.  And if there is no God we are not, neither the earth; for there could have been no creation of things, neither to act nor to be acted upon; wherefore, all things must have vanished away.

(Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 2:13)

For by the water ye keep the commandment; by the Spirit ye are justified, and by the blood ye are sanctified;

(Pearl of Great Price | Moses 6:60)

Please let me explain something to you may be you will get it right this time.  Confessing Christ and claiming his blood is not enough. With your knowledge of the scriptures or the law and the prophets, you should know this better than many for the LORD said that the devil and his angels do not believe, they know with absolute certainty that Jesus is the Christ, and it profits them nothing.

Please do not be amazed at this revelation, but you fall in the same cunning way of thinking of Nehor, Cohor and Corihor the antrichrists. When Amulek or Alma where explaining to Cesseron that God cannot save is in our sins he was saying that we need to repent and forsake then and enter in to the narrow path.  Like you, Cesseron, one of the doctors of law or lawyers of the people  though that GOD will save all men regardless of spiritual condition or without repentance and further obedience to the ALL Commandments. I know that you see this as impossibility but it is not. I have two examples. One is that Before we even knew who GOD is and what he did for us in Gethsemane and the cross, we already knew that to seal or to murder or to commit adultery is wrong.  The truth is that we are sufficiently instructed and whether we know them or not, the commandments are not far from our hearts. It takes the same effort to commit sin and to keep the commandments.  Sin, of course is more enticing to us because of the masquerade it has that makes it look good to look upon and very desirable to the carnal senses as a result of the fall, but if we knew sin as it is we would certainly abhor it and run far away from it.  Another example is a little child. A child, pretty much from birth to eight years old, does not steal, kill, lie or commit any other sin of the Decalogue with full knowledge or with full responsibility because he cannot discern like an older being right from wrong. That kid, even though sin begins to grow or be conceived in his or her heart as a result of the fall, keeps all of GOD’s commandment and is not accountable before GOD.

Now a broken heart and a contrite spirit is a necessary requirement because it is an acceptable sacrifice to the LORD as a result of a broken law.  And since we all have fallen short of the glory of GOD, we all have need to sacrifice. If you are obedient in all things then you may, but you do not necessarily have to sacrifice unless it is required of you.  If not so, Samuel would not have said, it is better to obey than to sacrifice and to pay attention than is better than the fat of rams.

Confessing Christ and coming to him with a broken heart and contrite spirit It is a token of repentance or of the desire to change and be obedient, yet that of itself does not make us obedient nor does it complete the process of repentance.  It only activates the atonement of Christ in our lives that initiates us in the strait  and narrow path that lead to the door.  Repentance as a matter of fact is the second principle of the Gospel, because you cannot repent unless you have faith in Christ. Without belief in him is us useless to repent. But the follows the first ordinance of the gospel which is baptism for immersion for the remission of sins and then the giving of the gift of the Holy Ghost by the lying of hands under those in authority. This indicates to GOD, first that thru faith in Christ, repentance and the door of baptism, one, you have a desire to be saved, two, you have confessed and forsaken your sins and three, you are willing to keep ALL of GOD’s commandments. And when you receive the gifts of the Holy Ghost by the Lying of hands you have the right as a citizen of the kingdom of GOD  for the Holy Ghost to help you become obedient in all things.  Once the spirit knows that you are serious and willing to submit to GOD in obedience in all things regardless of peril, then you receive the Baptism of Fire and of the Holy Ghost.  This means that from that moment onward you cannot longer sin or it is not in you to sin anymore. You become disabled and are on your way to perfection. It happens because the Holy Ghost which fell on Christ after his baptism until his death took a Xerox copy of the LORD’s righteousness and when he knows that you will be obedient to Christ or GOD in all things, he will imprint that copy on your soul so you also can be Christ like and do all things even as if you were the living Christ and even greater things if it is his will.  This is the so called spiritual rebirth or what you call being born again.  And this is what makes us perfect even like Christ despite our previous shortcomings.  Now this is how it works.

The LORD breaks in pieces our stony heart and then gives as a heart of flesh or new heart or a new spirit that make us thereafter obedient in ALL things until we attain perfection. And we can be obedient in all things because in that heart the LORD write with his own finger his commandant and his laws, which are continually before us that will be very, very difficult to break them, for it is as if we are tempted to steal at the same time that the LORD is walking besides us.  We wouldn’t, We couln’t, We souldn’t unless we deny that he is there.  Only then we can be where GOD lives because we are like him in all things.   Moses, tried to purify and sanctify the people so that all could be like him, or better yet like unto the son of GOD so that he could write in their hearts as he wrote in the stones the commandments and his law as if we were living or walking temples or covenant arks.    But they, because of the hardness of their heart, were afraid and pained that the LORD should speak to them. They preferred an intermediary like Moses and Aaron and in so doing; they refused to give heed and were given instead a preparatory law of rites and ordinances. And this is the end game of our mortal existence that we prepare in all things to meet GOD with a new and everlasting covenant that cannot be broken. Moses, Jeremiah, Isaiah and even Paul spoke about this very same thing, but this cannot take place without completing the process of repentance or without going to the motions that Josh the Baptist and Jesus Christ set as an example.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

(Old Testament | Jeremiah 31:31 - 33)

And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.

(Old Testament | Ezekiel 11:18 - 21)

Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

(Old Testament | Ezekiel 18:31 - 32)

But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old.  Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

(New Testament | Hebrews 8:6 - 13)

Now Bobby, how can we all speak in the name of the LORD or with the tongue of angels without blaspheming his name except thru the fullness of Holy Ghost? The LORD also said that there is not one good person, not one or there is not one righteous, not one, at least under heaven,  and that is true because all minds and flesh are corrupt before the LORD, but if we do anything good at all, we can’t except thru the Holy Ghost.  That means that the only way to do something good, we have to do it thru the LORD and without him, there is nothing that we can do to make him smile upon us.  Therefore, if we love GOD, we will keep his commandments, and how can we do that unless we have them written in our inward parts thru he power of the Holy Ghost?  And how can re receive these blessing without faith in Jesus Christ unto repentance. And how can we show to the father that we have repented if we do not follow the example of Christ thru Baptism?  Now baptism is the door. And if we enter in any other way we are wall jumpers or robbers and we will be found.

They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

(Old Testament | Psalms 14:3)

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

(New Testament | Romans 3:10 - 12)

And now I speak unto all the ends of the earth—that if the day cometh that the power and gifts of God shall be done away among you, it shall be because of unbelief. And wo be unto the children of men if this be the case; for there shall be none that doeth good among you, no not one.  For if there be one among you that doeth good, he shall work by the power and gifts of God.

(Book of Mormon | Moroni 10:24 - 25)

And there are none that doeth good except those who are ready to receive the fulness of my gospel, which I have sent forth unto this generation.

(Doctrine and Covenants | Section 35:12)

If Repentance, which is to confess our sin, to stop sinning and to continue change thru obedience or abstinence unto perfection was not necessary as you claim, why would the prophets of old, John the Baptis the greatest of those born of women and the Christ and those that followed him after in both hemispheres preach repentance and obedience in preparation for the way of the LORD to make his paths straight? If you deny repentance and obedience to GOD in all things, which is the essence of the everlasting gospel, what is it then you preaching Bobby? We walk the talk or we practice what we preach and profess. Here is the law and the testimony:

And the Lord God called upon men by the Holy Ghost everywhere and commanded them that they should repent; And as many as believed in the Son, and repented of their sins, should be saved; and as many as believed not and repented not, should be damned; and the words went forth out of the mouth of God in a firm decree; wherefore they must be fulfilled.

(Pearl of Great Price | Moses 5:14 - 15)

And it came to pass that Noah continued his preaching unto the people, saying: Hearken, and give heed unto my words; Believe and repent of your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, even as our fathers, and ye shall receive the Holy Ghost, that ye may have all things made manifest; and if ye do not this, the floods will come in upon you; nevertheless they hearkened not.

(Pearl of Great Price | Moses 8:23 - 24)

Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding?  they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return. I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done?  every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.

(Old Testament | Jeremiah 8:5 - 6)

Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

(Old Testament | Ezekiel 14:6)

IN those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judæa, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

(New Testament | Matthew 3:1 - 3)

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

(New Testament | Matthew 4:17)

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

(New Testament | Acts 2:37 - 39)

And it came to pass that by so doing they kept them from being destroyed upon the face of the land; for they did prick their hearts with the word, continually stirring them up unto repentance.

(Book of Mormon | Jarom 1:12)

And it came to pass that the prophets of the Lord did threaten the people of Nephi, according to the word of God, that if they did not keep the commandments, but should fall into transgression, they should be destroyed from off the face of the land.

(Book of Mormon | Jarom 1:10)

Yea, thus saith the Spirit: Repent, all ye ends of the earth, for the kingdom of heaven is soon at hand; yea, the Son of God cometh in his glory, in his might, majesty, power, and dominion.  Yea, my beloved brethren, I say unto you, that the Spirit saith: Behold the glory of the King of all the earth; and also the King of heaven shall very soon shine forth among all the children of men.

(Book of Mormon | Alma 5:50)

But Melchizedek having exercised mighty faith, and received the office of the high priesthood according to the holy order of God, did preach repentance unto his people.  And behold, they did repent; and Melchizedek did establish peace in the land in his days; therefore he was called the prince of peace, for he was the king of Salem; and he did reign under his father.

(Book of Mormon | Alma 13:18)

And Alma and Amulek went forth preaching repentance to the people in their temples, and in their sanctuaries, and also in their synagogues, which were built after the manner of the Jews.

(Book of Mormon | Alma 16:13)

Preach unto them repentance, and faith on the Lord Jesus Christ; teach them to humble themselves and to be meek and lowly in heart; teach them to withstand every temptation of the devil, with their faith on the Lord Jesus Christ. Teach them to never be weary of good works, but to be meek and lowly in heart; for such shall find rest to their souls. O, remember, my son, and learn wisdom in thy youth; yea, learn in thy youth to keep the commandments of God.

(Book of Mormon | Alma 37:33 - 35)

Yea, and there was continual peace among them, and exceedingly great prosperity in the church because of their heed and diligence which they gave unto the word of God, which was declared unto them by Helaman, and Shiblon, and Corianton, and Ammon and his brethren, yea, and by all those who had been ordained by the holy order of God, being baptized unto repentance, and sent forth to preach among the people.

(Book of Mormon | Alma 49:30)

And it came to pass that in this year there was one Samuel, a Lamanite, came into the land of Zarahemla, and began to preach unto the people.  And it came to pass that he did preach, many days, repentance unto the people, and they did cast him out, and he was about to return to his own land.

(Book of Mormon | Helaman 13:2)

Now when they saw that they could not hit him, there were many more who did believe on his words, insomuch that they went away unto Nephi to be baptized.  For behold, Nephi was baptizing, and prophesying, and preaching, crying repentance unto the people, showing signs and wonders, working miracles among the people, that they might know that the Christ must shortly come— Telling them of things which must shortly come, that they might know and remember at the time of their coming that they had been made known unto them beforehand, to the intent that they might believe; therefore as many as believed on the words of Samuel went forth unto him to be baptized, for they came repenting and confessing their sins.

(Book of Mormon | Helaman 16:3 - 5)

For all men must repent and be baptized, and not only men, but women, and children who have arrived at the years of accountability. And now, after that you have received this, you must keep my commandments in all things; And by your hands I will work a marvelous work among the children of men, unto the convincing of many of their sins, that they may come unto repentance, and that they may come unto the kingdom of my Father. Wherefore, the blessings which I give unto you are above all things. And after that you have received this, if you keep not my commandments you cannot be saved in the kingdom of my Father. Behold, I, Jesus Christ, your Lord and your God, and your Redeemer, by the power of my Spirit have spoken it.  Amen.

(Doctrine and Covenants | Section 18:42 - 47)

If we cannot do these thing, then we cannot expect a place in the presence of GOD because we could not make ourselves his obedient disciples. And if the apostles of Christ and a great many if his followers before and after did it, so can we. Now this is the commandant.

Now this is the commandment: Repent, all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me and be baptized in my name, that ye may be sanctified by the reception of the Holy Ghost, that ye may stand spotless before me at the last day. Verily, verily, I say unto you, this is my gospel; and ye know the things that ye must do in my church; for the works which ye have seen me do that shall ye also do; for that which ye have seen me do even that shall ye do; Therefore, if ye do these things blessed are ye, for ye shall be lifted up at the last day.

(Book of Mormon | 3 Nephi 27:20 - 22)

Verily I say unto you, that ye are built upon my gospel; therefore ye shall call whatsoever things ye do call, in my name; therefore if ye call upon the Father, for the church, if it be in my name the Father will hear you; And if it so be that the church is built upon my gospel then will the Father show forth his own works in it. But if it be not built upon my gospel, and is built upon the works of men, or upon the works of the devil, verily I say unto you they have joy in their works for a season, and by and by the end cometh, and they are hewn down and cast into the fire, from whence there is no return.

For their works do follow them, for it is because of their works that they are hewn down; therefore remember the things that I have told you. Behold I have given unto you my gospel, and this is the gospel which I have given unto you—that I came into the world to do the will of my Father, because my Father sent me. And my Father sent me that I might be lifted up upon the cross; and after that I had been lifted up upon the cross, that I might draw all men unto me, that as I have been lifted up by men even so should men be lifted up by the Father, to stand before me, to be judged of their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil— And for this cause have I been lifted up; therefore, according to the power of the Father I will draw all men unto me, that they may be judged according to their works.

And it shall come to pass, that whoso repenteth and is baptized in my name shall be filled; and if he endureth to the end, behold, him will I hold guiltless before my Father at that day when I shall stand to judge the world. And he that endureth not unto the end, the same is he that is also hewn down and cast into the fire, from whence they can no more return, because of the justice of the Father. And this is the word which he hath given unto the children of men.  And for this cause he fulfilleth the words which he hath given, and he lieth not, but fulfilleth all his words. And no unclean thing can enter into his kingdom; therefore nothing entereth into his rest save it be those who have washed their garments in my blood, because of their faith, and the repentance of all their sins, and their faithfulness unto the end.

(Book of Mormon | 3 Nephi 27:9 - 19)

Prepare ye, prepare ye for that which is to come, for the Lord is nigh; And the anger of the Lord is kindled, and his sword is bathed in heaven, and it shall fall upon the inhabitants of the earth. And the arm of the Lord shall be revealed; and the day cometh that they who will not hear the voice of the Lord, neither the voice of his servants, neither give heed to the words of the prophets and apostles, shall be cut off from among the people; For they have strayed from mine ordinances, and have broken mine everlasting covenant; They seek not the Lord to establish his righteousness, but every man walketh in his own way, and after the image of his own god, whose image is in the likeness of the world, and whose substance is that of an idol, which waxeth old and shall perish in Babylon, even Babylon the great, which shall fall.

Wherefore, I the Lord, knowing the calamity which should come upon the inhabitants of the earth, called upon my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., and spake unto him from heaven, and gave him commandments; And also gave commandments to others, that they should proclaim these things unto the world; and all this that it might be fulfilled, which was written by the prophets— The weak things of the world shall come forth and break down the mighty and strong ones, that man should not counsel his fellow man, neither trust in the arm of flesh— But that every man might speak in the name of God the Lord, even the Savior of the world; That faith also might increase in the earth; That mine everlasting covenant might be established; That the fulness of my gospel might be proclaimed by the weak and the simple unto the ends of the world, and before kings and rulers.

(Doctrine and Covenants | Section 1:12 - 23)

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

(New Testament | John 15:10 - 14)

LET us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

(New Testament | Hebrews 4:1 - 2)

Wherefore, men are free according to the flesh; and all things are given them which are expedient unto man.  And they are free to choose liberty and eternal life, through the great Mediator of all men, or to choose captivity and death, according to the captivity and power of the devil; for he seeketh that all men might be miserable like unto himself. And now, my sons, I would that ye should look to the great Mediator, and hearken unto his great commandments; and be faithful unto his words, and choose eternal life, according to the will of his Holy Spirit; And not choose eternal death, according to the will of the flesh and the evil which is therein, which giveth the spirit of the devil power to captivate, to bring you down to hell, that he may reign over you in his own kingdom. I have spoken these few words unto you all, my sons, in the last days of my probation; and I have chosen the good part, according to the words of the prophet.  And I have none other object save it be the everlasting welfare of your souls.  Amen.

(Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 2:27 - 30)

What the LORD says to one he says unto all.  You know our scriptures but cannot yet discern the word of GOD in them to your profit. I have tried to correct the element of faith hidden from your understanding with added light and knowledge so that you do not pervert the ways of the LORD and perish thru false precepts or doctrines of devils; and be saved if you will give heed to his counsel and exercise faith in Christ unto repentance so that you enter by the gate and begin your real progress.  And be condemned if you don’t.  As always the choice is all yours, I pray that you stop choosing death to your eternal hurt and that for once,  you begin to chose liberty and eternal life.  And these things I say with a single eye for the honor and Glory of God and I do it as one having authority in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Yours truly from an unworthy servant in the hands of Christ, amen.
